I love Landrovers - especially the Defender (I used to have one - and miss it everyday). So this is brilliant!

A small taster...

This is a small taster of some work that is going into production very soon... it will be part of a larger range of gift wrap and also notebooks! More to come soon...

next steps to something great...

Meeting with Betty & Betts to day - very excited - this is where all the ideas in my head and my piles of paper and images start the road to something!

This is a new venture for us and something we haven't been involved in before so it makes it even more of a challenge! We do like things to be useful as well and great to look at...

I'll be posting up some fabric ideas soon so watch out for them - we would love to know what you think!

so we are moving on - the cards are doing well so far and that has excited our creative side!

We have after much research (not quite on the back of a fag packet) to design and produce our own label bags and accessories and stationary for blokes!

We have a style we like and we think will be a winner! We have had a positive response from all those that we have spoken to and now we just need to do loads of work to finalise the items and then ultimately produce samples etc. I'll keep you updated as we go along...

Very excited - slightly apprehensive...

Our range of cards - our showcase - is on display and ready for the retail trade to have a look at on the Artscape stand!
Just like to say a massive thank you to our designer Jove Tocher and to Peter at Artscape Publishing for his support!

As you can imagine this is a big step for us and we are looking forward to the reaction - they will certainly be in Pink & Brown at some point in September!

We fully intend to expand the ranges and we have two new designers who we are going to be working with. Also we are going to be meeting with our friends at Betty & Betts to discuss a range of ethical products - can't wait!

This blog is about the world of Pink & Brown - what we do and stuff we like... not just products that we sell in our shop in Sunninghill or on our web site or the design business that we are launching in September (more news coming very soon). It's also other businesses and people that are doing great things - Vintage Scoops selling ice cream around the land or Utility in Brighton selling wonderful home ware from the past!
